Do you remember watching Audrey Hepburn in 'Roman Holiday'? Being romanced by the decidedly handsome Gregory Peck? Looking gorgeous and so European as she whizzed around Rome on her Vespa? Well, 2010 is the year for morphing into Audrey! Except we are going to do it in Tuscany, in style, and in conjunction with our fabulous friends at ScooterBella.
After 3 nights of fun, food, culture and shopping in that most beautiful of Tuscan cities, Florence, staying at the lovely traditional hotel of Orto dei Medici, we will spend 5 days traversing the countryside of Tuscany on our fabulous red Vespas. Staying for 3 nights at Borgo Fontebussi and 2 nights at Albergo Il Chiostro, formerly a 16th century monastery, you will get to immerse yourself into the incredible beauty of this extraordinary region of Italy. Visit the village of 'Il Borro' which fashion house Ferragamo has bought and restored to something quite amazing! (Oh and yes for those who want to, an afternoon ride to the Fashion Outlets has been included - Gucci, Prada etc etc). Indulge in a private lunch at one of the top vineyards in the region and discover my favourite town in Italy, Siena. We will eat at amazing restaurants, and also have time to sit by the pool and kick back for a little rest and relaxation.
And finally, I have found the most wonderful place in S. Albino, near Montepulciano, where Pamela Sheldon-Johns and her husband Johnny run a beautiful Agriturismo, Poggio Etrusco, and a world- famous cooking school. Pamela has 15 cook books in print, and she is a passionate advocate of all things Italian. We will stay here for 2 nights at the end of our Vespa adventure to indulge in a little cooking, some fine food and wine, and wind down in the peace and quiet of their beautiful estate.

- Itinerary can alter whilst away due to unforseen circumstances
- Previous experience on a scooter is advantageous, and you must be a good driver, athletic and coordinated, and you are used to riding a bicycle.
- If unsure, please undertake a scooter lesson to see your capability as ScooterBella reserve the right to refuse scooter usage to anyone they feel is a danger to themselves and the group.
- We highly recommend you take out supplement damage and theft insurance for your Vespa. This is an additional Euro 15 per day - total for 5 days Euro 75
- Limited to 8 participants ( 2 will have to tandem)
- Minimum 6 pariticipants
- Passengers must be over 18 years old and obtain an international driver's licence
- Travel insurance is compulsory
- Any part of the tour not utilized is non-refundable
- Cancellation penalties apply after confirmation
- A $750 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a place on the tour and payable within 7 days of confirmation
